Answer for question 4583.

How would you define being an introvert? Is it different than just being shy, or are they the same thing to you? Would you classify yourself as an introvert or an extrovert?
I'm an extreme introvert. For years I thought shy was just another name for it. As it turns out, they're different and I'm both. I worked in the same place for 20 years, looking back I suspect that was more because I didn't want to "start all over" someplace else. I was comfortable once I got to know everyone and I made friends. But when I retired, it was easy to pull away. I've been retired for 13 years and these days I'm happy to "hibernate" at home.
